Welcome! My name is Bill Vaughn, a real estate investor since 1969. I developed the original "reverse mortgage" in 1985 and have provided real estate coaching to over 18,000 "newbies". In 1989 my investor group got together and created "The Simple Man's Guide to Real Estate" investor training course, designed to be both complete and affordable.

Complete means just that - complete. Even coaching is included at no additional cost (we are a non-profit, staffed by investors who volunteer their services). Affordable means under $100, complete.

This blog is designed to guide newbies, and to provide new ideas to old pros. Here you will find helpful information, news and strategies for real estate investors.

What you will not find here is some infomercial real estate guru whose purpose is to bilk you out ouf tens of thousands of dollars for useless seminars or bus tours, etc.
